Appliance Repair Diagnostics
When your washing machine refuses to spin or your oven won’t heat, you need a reliable technician to diagnose the problem and provide a clear repair solution. Our appliance service begins with a diagnostic visit to identify the fault and provide a no‑obligation quote for the repair.
How Our Diagnostic Works
- Call‑out & inspection: We visit your property, examine the appliance and run diagnostic tests to find the root cause of the issue. This covers our time, travel and expertise.
- Detailed quote: After the inspection fee is paid, we prepare a detailed quote outlining the diagnosed fault, required parts and labour and the total repair cost. You’re free to approve or decline the repair.
- Return visit & repair: Should you approve the quote, we will arrange a return visit to complete the repair. A £25 travel charge will be applied for the return visit in addition to the cost of parts agreed; no extra labour will be charged.
- No hidden charges: If you decline the repair, the diagnostic fee remains payable for the work already done. There are no additional fees or surprise charges.
Transparent Pricing
Our diagnostic fee is £75 per appliance (outside London) or £85 inside London. This covers travel to your home, time spent identifying the fault and preparing your quote. If you decide to proceed with the repair, a £25 return call‑out fee will apply in addition to the cost of agreed parts (no extra labour will be charged).

If your appliance isn’t listed, get in touch – we may still be able to help. Please note we currently do not work on fridges, freezers, microwaves or certain specialist appliances.
